If you own in a strata scheme, you will usually need your owners corporation's approval before work starts, and buildings often have rules about working hours, lift bookings and noise. We plan around these.
Heritage areas. Parts of the Eastern Suburbs, including areas such as Paddington and Woollahra, are heritage conservation areas. Internal work is often simpler than external changes, but we check what applies to your property before quoting.
Coastal conditions. Near the coast, salt air and humidity are hard on fittings and finishes. We discuss durable tapware, hardware and finishes when selections are made, and make sure bathrooms are properly waterproofed to Australian Standards.
Yes. We work with your strata manager on approvals and access, and plan deliveries and noisy work to suit building rules.
In most bathroom renovations, yes. Waterproofing must be done by a licensed waterproofer to AS 3740, and in an apartment it also protects the units below. We include this in the written scope.
Your council can tell you, and we check as part of preparing your quote. Heritage controls usually matter most for external changes, but it is worth confirming before you commit to a design.
